The mac wouldn't start, I could hear the fan running and if I pressed the power button I can hear her stop. I have the mac above and I have a weird problem. MacBook Pro (retina, mid-2012) will not start

If that does not resolve the problem, maybe it's a problem with the operating system, in which case you should try to reinstall OS X by pressing down the command key and the R key as soon as you see the Apple logo at the start of your computer to the top and then clicking "reinstall Mac OS X" and following the on-screen instructions. Are you sure that the Mac is not just go to sleep as it was designed to do? Try to reset your default energy-saving preferences. For example, tonight the battery came into sleep mode with 16% left on the screen - sound almost if the MacBook thought it was exhausted. I think the battery is depleting faster (which is natural after 3.2 years) but benchmarking between percentage left and the unit goes into mode 'sleep' is meaningless. I have a MacBook Pro (mid-2012) with a battery 3.2 old Yes and less than 300 cycles. I hope that someone in the community can help with this question.
